i'm getting addicted with facebook's "it girl", where i virtually shop my heart out... well, at least until i run out of cash or energy. in real life though, my most recent purchase includes some underwear and these:

so far, they're real comfy and stable. observe thick heels. ^_^ best thing: it was on sale. got a 400 peso discount. unfortunately, they don't have this in black. and contrary to what my boyfriend thinks, i still need black shoes. hahaha. need new step ins too, my ipanema has cracked in more places than i could imagine possible. note to self: no more ipanemas. tsk.

in other shopping news, i gotta gotta shop in prep for my boracay trip on the 21st. excited much? you bet i am! i'm planning on buying some polo shirts coz i recently realized i don't have any. might splurge on a new swimsuit... um, what else?

of course i can never have enough blouses. has anyone besides me noticed the fact that it's so darn difficult to find corporate blouses with sleeves? i blame it on the weather (dang tropical heat) and the idiots in the hr department handling dress codes. arrogant worms! 1. the company doesn't pay enough. 2. it's not as though we're provided with clothing allowance. shiesh!

anyway, i'm in desperate need of a shopping buddy. anyone up for this? let me know. ^_^

A Slice of Heaven

i finally had my share of sunshine and sand last week. spent friday to sunday at magalawa island, zambales. had a nice time with my bf. it was pure bliss while it lasted. kinda wished i didn't have to come back home.

it was peaceful and quiet, super nice for a little r&r. just what i needed to refresh myself. the fact that i was there with tan made everything feel like heaven.

and contrary to what people say, these are not pre-nup pics. >.< i'm not getting married anytime soon... at least i don't think i am. but i sure hope if and when i do get hitched, my pre-nup pics are better than these. these are great; my pre-nup pics must be awesome! (",) hope to be back there with jen, ron, arjay, jhanis, kenna, ton, etc. someday if not this summer. ^_^ in the mean time, i'm looking forward to february bora with eybi, rain, gio, & nel! ciao!

happy new year! cheers! here's to wishing it won't suck! yey!

so i finished book 6 of the vampire academy (last sacrifice). nice ending. feels as though something's missing, but it's fairly ok.

sooooo, updates! had mini bonding sessions with the cousins during the holidays. went on a road trip christmas eve to tagaytay. for a change, i had fun with family. we're not really used to going out together since we're not really that close and the gaps with our ages are considerable, but hey, there it is:
spent the new year at fontana with mom's friend, auntie stef & her 2 kids. had fun, learned a new game, which we really initially thought was kinda corny, but ended up playing it anyway, and enjoying it as well:if it's not too much to ask, i'm wishing for another bonding thing this coming summer. 2011, don't disappoint me! ^_^

fare thee well 2010. i thank God for all the ups and downs. i've hopefully become a better person. after a few realizations and hopes of betterment... (ooh, hey, is there such a word? i'm not seeing the squiggly line, so there probably is.) i've come up with the following goals:
1. i gotta go get me a better job!
2. i seriously need a social life (hopefully a result of the better job --translate to 'better working hours')
3. i gotta love ME more.
4. save! save! save!
5. spiritual growth...
