Steps to Get Over Him

Before I proceed, a short note:
Expect the next few months of not so happy thoughts and emo posts. If you're allergic to it, you might want to steer clear of this blog.

Getting back to topic:
1. Do not sleep. Sleep is bad for you. You see him in your sleep. In your sleep you're as happy as two peas in a pod. Then you wake up and you cry. And you get sleepy coz you cried. It's a stupid cycle, so from now on, quit sleeping.
2. Stop using your phone. Everytime you put in your passcode to unlock it, it's him you think of because your password is still his birthday. And you haven't moved on enough to change your password yet. Not even to 1234.
3. Plug your ears. As you're working in a place full of people from Bulacan, the way they say "mada-e" for madami, and their insertion of the letter w in between words will constantly remind you of how he talks.
4. Entertain yourself so as not to be sad. Because when you're sad, you remember that time when he bought you Bochog just to cheer you up. Don't look at Bochog or Gap.
5. Don't eat. You don't have anyone to share your plate with anymore. No one will keep trying to take the rice from your side of the plate. Or push mounds of it over to your side to make you eat more.

To sum up everything in one short step: curl up in a corner and die.

...

...kasi kung mahal mo, you'd let him have it --whatever it is that he needs to move on and be happy without you. Even if it means he has to believe a lie, and believe such terrible things about you in the process.

PBA After 12 Years

I think it was my fourth year in high school in 2001 when I last watched a PBA finals game with the intention of witnessing all best of 7 games. The San Miguel Beermen won 4 games over Ginebra's 2. Too bad. I was rooting for Ginebra (except for Jun Limpot, really don't like him) that time.

...And today, if all goes well, I'm going to watch a game between Talk N' Text and Rain or Shine. How times have changed. I am now about to watch a game with players under the same generation I am. Larry Fonacier and Rich Alvarez may be 3 and 5 years ahead of me, but Chris Tiu is my age! I feel so old.

Admittedly, I don't know a lot about basketball, but I enjoy watching a game or two every now and then. Still don't get why guys have to have a dedicated channel to watch it 24 hours a day, though. Live and let live, right?

It's 3-0 now in favor of TNT. Hope me watching don't jinx it. ^_^

Don't expect a commentary on this blog. I'm not really qualified. Ciao!

Happy New Year & Happy Birthday

Happy new year everyone!

Here's an updated list of the things I want to do or accomplish for the upcoming year:
1. Blog more often, at least 3 entries a month.
2. Create and keep more memories. This means adventures, travel, and pictures, pictures, pictures!
3. Run regularly at least once a week.
4. Cook more.
5. Go to a beach at least once.
6. Climb a mountain at least once.
7. Ride a bike.
8. Ice skate.
9. Attend Sunday service regularly.
10. Be more faithful with my quiet times.

In other news, I'm really really excited at the moment because I'm actually typing this on my new toy:

Yes, it's pink. Don't you just love it? It's a Samsung series 5, slim. It's light and it's pretty. I can't get over how thin it is. I even got a load of freebies when I bought it. ^_^ Yey! A very advanced happy birthday to me!

Post Break Up Busyness

Yup, that's right, we broke up. I actually mentioned it, but that's about it. No details on what went on between us. I never did share anything about that kind of stuff, and I'm not about to start now. It's called respect... to him and to what we had.

The aftermath of it all is that I'm currently trying to keep myself sane, normal, and really really busy so I do not have to think about it. As opposed to popular demand of bawling anywhere and everywhere, I have opted to go to work with almost no evidence of ever having go through any personal problems. When I feel the need to breakdown and cry, I do take the day or the half day off and hide in the comforts of home. Sure, I do have the unpredictable moments of remembering once upon a times, and the tears overflow, but then I get a hold of myself and tissue everything off. Unfortunately, society apparently dictates that I have to show them how miserable I am else they go judging me with god-knows-what. So to you pathetic losers who have nothing else worthwhile to do other than that: GO TO HELL.

Yes, I'm pissed, and as much as I would want to be the Piolo Pascual of this scenario, I do not have the patience nor the strength left in me to endure these unworthy brats' criticisms.

Moving on, I've turned my autopilot mode on, and have been living on routine the past few weeks. I wake up early and go right back to sleep for the lack of motivation to go through another day. When I finally find it possible to drag myself out of bed, I arrive late for work coz I simply don't care anymore; this will probably entail another memo for my excessive tardiness for November. Then I work through the day, a task at a time as though it's the only thing I know how to do. I don't try to feel or think. I laugh when something's funny, I rant when projects get delayed, I work. If this mechanical existence means that (1) I temporarily forget the loneliness and the pain, and (2) the insensitive so-called-friends will think I have gotten over things, then so be it. I'm tired of having to understand them and their opinions, when in fact they should have been doing this for me and Tan. For those people who actually think we owe them any explanations on what happened, you can go curl up and die.

So that's about it. I'm basically trying to keep myself incessantly productive; I'm just not sure yet if I'm succeeding or not.
